Patricia Scholtemeyer
Chief Executive Officer: M-Net. Patricia Scholtemeyer, has been with the group since 1999, initially as a publisher and subsequently as CEO of Media24's magazine division since 2000. Under Scholtemeyer the magazine division grew from 17 to around 65 titles.
Biola Adekanbi
Biola Adekanbi serves as the M-net Africa Channel Director. She is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for M-net activities across Africa. Biola has over 10 years of experience in the media and marketing industry with stints at Sesame Workshop, Bigwords.com and Daewoo Motors America. A graduate from the University of Cincinnati, Ms. Adekanbi holds a Bachelors degree in Public Health and Marketing and resides in Lagos, Nigeria.
Dave Hagen
Head: M-Net Broadcast Services since July 2002, prior to this Dave was Chief Engineer of M-Net. He started with M-Net in 1986 and has a broadcast engineering background, with extensive operations experience. He has been in the media and entertainment industry for 21 years. Presently he holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Technical Committee of the National Association of Broadcasters.
Eddie McAlone
Technical Director Operations BCS: Eddie McAlone has full accountability for the technical, operational and managerial excellence of the Broadcast Services Division. A veteran of the Telecommunications industry, Eddie has worked within the Oil and Gas, Defence, Mobile and Fixed Carrier sectors in various countries. His previous roles in South Africa have included GM of Alcatel Networks, COO of Alcatel South Africa and MD of Movius Interactive.
Hajra Karrim
Chief Financial Officer – M-Net. Hajra Karrim is a qualified Chartered Accountant by profession. She started her career with Deloitte, first as an articled clerk and thereafter as an audit manager. She later moved to the UK where she gained extensive international experience working for LSE listed entities which included the likes of British Airports Authority plc. In 2007 Hajra joined M-Net where she is responsible for overseeing its South African and Sub-Saharan operations.
Jan du Plessis
B.Com (Hons) Economics. Director: Internatonal Acquisitions & Sales. Jan worked in the movie distribution industry for four years before joining M-Net as head of acquisitions for seven years and was then appointed as Director of Channels.
Karen Willenberg
Director of Regulatory and Legal Affairs: Karen is an attorney by profession. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cape Town, majoring in Drama and English Literature and a Bachelor of Laws degree, also from UCT. Early in her career, Ms Willenberg specialised in entertainment and media law, representing South African and international clients in both litigious and commercial matters.

In 2004, she left private practise to join pay television operator, M-Net in the position of Director of Regulatory and Legal Affairs. While at M-Net, she has continued to attend to a range of commercial matters, but her primary focus has been broadcasting policy and regulation.

Recently, she has played a critical advisory role on issues related to digital migration. She holds a co-chairing position in the Ministerial Working Group on Digital Migration and has been appointed by the Minister of Communications to serve on the Digital Dzonga Advisory Council, tasked with overseeing the implementation of digital migration in South Africa.

Ms Willenberg continues to make a contribution to the broadcasting sector as part of the executive committee of the National Association of Broadcasters and in her capacity as Deputy Chairperson of the Advertising Standards Authority.
Koo Govender
B.Com Marketing Management. Director: Corporate & Marketing Communications. Koo has been in this position since April 2006. Prior to that she worked at DSTV as a Creative Services Manager. She was then appointed as M-Net Marketing Director.
Theo Erasmus
M.Com (Business Management). Channel Director: General Entertainment (SA). Has worked in the broadcasting environment since 1987, initially in Human Resources, later in television news and after that as head of a free-to-air television station. Joined M-Net in July 2001 as General Manager: Kyknet.
Yolisa Phahle
Channel Director: Special Interests (SA). Yolisa cut her teeth in the industry as a musician and has performed with the likes of Jamiroquai and Duran Duran.Her broadcast career began at the BBC World Service, where she trained as Studio Manager and later became World Service Music producer, before being appointed Senior Producer at BBC 6 Music. She returned to South Africa in 2004 and joined Channel O as General Manager.
