Pan-African entertainment channel M-Net today announced plans for a brand-new 13-part stand-up comedy series, specifically dedicated to Zambian audiences. STAND UP ZAMBIA will mark the channel’s first Zambian series, shot on location in Lusaka.

Just one month after confirming that it was partnering with the Kenyan Film Commission on a cross-continental skills sharing initiative, African TV operator M-Net has now announced the names of the ten Kenyan TV and film professionals heading to Nigeria to participate in the initiative.

The ambitious cross-continental initiative that saw 14 talented Nigerian TV interns head to Johannesburg as part of an M-Net skills sharing and training project has been successfully completed.

This week 14 Nigerian TV interns will jet off to Johannesburg as part of a new skills development program launched by leading African TV channel M-Net. The trip marks the latest initiative in M-Net’s ongoing efforts, in partnership with the Nigerian TV industry, to ensure skills sharing and specialized training for local crews.
