Helen Smit, General Manager of KTV, is extremely proud of KTV's Market Day and what it has managed to achieve thus far. “KTV Market Day keeps proving to us year after year that kids have an abundance of talent that needs nurturing” she says.

KTV would like to extend a warm thank you to all previous participants who’ve always made this day a great success and an even bigger ‘thank you’ to all the parents who not only encouraged their kids but spent hours helping them.

And it has been through the dedicated efforts of the market’s coordinators in the different regions namely, Johannesburg (combined with Pretoria), Cape Town, Bloemfontein, East London, Port Elizabeth that KTV Market Day has retained not only it’s focus but it’s fun appeal as well.

Each year the different venues host scores of proud parents and bargain hunters who spend the day marveling at the creativity of the kids. KTV Market Day is open for kids between 6 and 16 to trade their wares while they are adjudicated by a panel of judges. Their “product” can also be themselves, as Market Day includes a Talent Show for budding performing artists.
