Yachting holidays can turn into nightmares, as Ted Andrews discovers in this saga of piracy on the high seas, kidnapping and rescue. Ted persuades his ex-wife Sandy to allow their children accompany him on a cruise to Australia aboard his multi-million dollar yacht. He plans to sell the craft at the end of the voyage, but it soon transpires that his girlfriend Laura belongs to a terrorist organization that wants the boat as an operations base.

Under attack from a boarding party, Ted manages to escape, but his children are still on board. Desperate but determined to rescue them, Ted and Sandy start an international TV campaign to hunt down the terrorists and free their children.
